At Manokam by Kamal Fine Jewels, we want your jewellery to remain valuable to you even as your preferences change. We therefore offer a Lifetime Exchange facility
on eligible Manokam jewellery, subject to the terms below.

1. Eligibility

The Lifetime Exchange facility is available on eligible jewellery originally purchased from Manokam by Kamal Fine Jewels, subject to verification of the product and original purchase details.

The product must be submitted to Manokam for inspection and valuation before any exchange value is confirmed.

2. Exchange Value

The exchange value will be determined at the time of exchange based on the applicable value of the eligible components of the jewellery and Manokam’s prevailing exchange policy.

For gold, the value will be calculated based on the verified net gold weight, purity and the applicable gold rate used by Manokam on the date of exchange.

For lab-grown diamonds and gemstones, where eligible for exchange, the value will be determined according to Manokam’s prevailing exchange valuation applicable to the relevant stone at the time of exchange, after verification of its specifications and condition.

The exchange value may therefore differ from the original purchase price.

3. What Is Not Included in Exchange Value

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the following amounts paid at the time of the original purchase are not considered independently refundable or exchangeable components:

* GST and other applicable taxes
* Shipping or delivery charges
* Certification charges
* Customisation or personalisation charges
* Repair, resizing or alteration charges
* Any other service-related charges

The exchange value will be determined only in accordance with the applicable valuation terms stated in this policy.

4. Product Verification

Every jewellery item submitted for exchange will be inspected by Manokam.

We may verify:

* Gold purity and net weight
* Diamond or gemstone specifications
* Product authenticity
* Certification, where applicable
* Alterations or repairs
* Missing or replaced components
* Overall condition of the jewellery

The final exchange value will be communicated after verification.

5. In-Person Exchange at Manokam Office

Lifetime Exchange requests must be completed in person at Manokam’s designated office/studio.

The customer, or a person duly authorised by the customer where accepted by Manokam, must bring the jewellery to our office for physical inspection, verification and valuation.

Lifetime Exchange is not processed through courier, shipping or doorstep collection unless Manokam expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Customers are advised to contact Manokam and schedule an appointment before visiting the office.

This in-person procedure applies to Manokam’s voluntary Lifetime Exchange facility and does not limit any rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable law.

6. Invoice & Certification

Customers should retain the original Manokam invoice and any certificate supplied with the jewellery.

Where an invoice or certificate is unavailable, Manokam may require additional verification before accepting the product for exchange.

Missing certificates, altered products, replaced stones or inability to verify the original purchase/specifications may affect eligibility or valuation.

7. Damaged or Altered Jewellery

Jewellery that is damaged, broken, resized, repaired or altered may still be considered for exchange, subject to inspection.

Any missing gold, diamonds, gemstones or other components will not be included in the valuation.

Jewellery altered or repaired by a third party may require additional verification and may be declined where authenticity, purity or specifications cannot reasonably be established.

8. Exchange Against a New Purchase

The Lifetime Exchange facility is intended for exchange against another eligible purchase from Manokam.

The approved exchange value will be adjusted against the value of the new purchase.

If the new jewellery has a higher value, the customer will be required to pay the difference along with applicable taxes and charges.

The Lifetime Exchange facility should not be interpreted as a cash-refund or guaranteed buyback facility unless Manokam expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

9. Market Price Changes

Gold, lab-grown diamonds and gemstones are market-linked products and their values may change over time.

Accordingly, the exchange value is not guaranteed to equal the original purchase price and will be determined according to the applicable valuation methodology at the time the exchange request is made.

10. Exclusions

Manokam may decline or appropriately adjust an exchange where:

* The jewellery cannot be verified as originally purchased from Manokam
* The jewellery or its components appear counterfeit or substituted
* Material components are missing
* Purity or specifications differ from the original product records
* The product has been materially modified by a third party
* The product falls within a category specifically excluded from the Lifetime Exchange programme at the time of original purchase

Any product-specific exclusion should be communicated to the customer at or before purchase.

11. Final Valuation

All exchange valuations are subject to physical inspection and verification by Manokam.

Where there is a genuine disagreement regarding weight, purity, stone specifications or other objectively verifiable characteristics, the matter may be reviewed using appropriate testing, certification or other verification methods.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights available to a customer under applicable law.

12. Policy Updates

Manokam may revise the Lifetime Exchange Policy from time to time for future purchases.

For a product already purchased under a specific written Lifetime Exchange commitment, Manokam will apply the exchange terms communicated for that purchase, subject to applicable law.

For this reason, customers are encouraged to retain their original invoice and any applicable exchange-policy documentation.
